bedroom Devon holiday cottage
Talot Cottage is one of two cottages which are part of Hill Farm in Burrington, North Devon. Set above the Taw Valley the cottages enjoy amazing views. The area is lovely with many pubs in pretty villages, which serve good food and ales, as well as wonderful cream tea shops. There are also many coves and sandy beaches on North Devon's coastline within easy driving distance. The cottages are located close to the owner's own home and they also enjoy access to a shared paddock and play area. Activities in the locality include walking on Exmoor, Dartmoor or the nearby Tarka Trail. There is also cycling, fishing and golfing. Barnstaple and South Molton are only 12 miles away.
This particular cottage is accessed via a private road and has it's own small enclosed garden with patio and patio furniture. It is full of character with beamed rooms throughout. It consists of a living room with TV and an electric wood burner effect fire, fitted kitchen/dining room with automatic washing machine and microwave. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin and a bathroom with shower attachment.
Linen and duvets are provided and the electric and convector heaters are operated by a £1 coin meter (1st £5 included between May 9th - September 19th, 1st £10 included all other dates). Baby facilities include a cot, highchair and stairgate. Parking is available. Pets are allowed.
