Stock Park Cottage is a delightful two bedroom traditional Lakeland cottage set within the extensive picturesque grounds of Stock Park Estate with shore line to Lake Windermere. The accommodation is single storey (no steps or stairs ideal for people with mobility problems) with two bedrooms. It is the perfect base for a quiet, relaxed holiday in close proximity to many attractions and walking opportunities. The cottage has shared lake frontage, with jetty, slipway and boat storage. Lakeside is situated on the South-West shores of Lake Windermere in an area of particular scenic beauty. The grounds overlook Lake Windermere and Gummers Howe. The cottage is made of traditional stone and slate with a natural private garden surrounding the cottage with seating area. It offers an open-plan sitting room and kitchen with a multi-fuel stove and oil fired heating. The two bedrooms sleep up to 6 with one king-size bed in the master bedroom and a double and bunk beds in the family room. The cottage has only recently become available as a holiday let.
