bedroom Devon holiday cottage
This lovely newly refurbished cottage is situated between Collaton St Mary and Stoke Gabriel. It is set within 30 acres of cider orchards (owned by a local farmer). A newly converted former cider barn, the cottage comprises three bedrooms - two doubles (one en-suite), and one single all upstairs with the family bathroom. The landing has a pitched skylight.
Downstairs there is a large diner/lounge with original stone pillar and oak panelled flooring. There is a two seater sofa and a couple of comfortable armchairs as well as TV and a dining area with seating for 6 people. Off to one side there is a beautiful, shaker styled kitchen with integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a large entrance hall with downstairs WC. Front paved garden area. Patio doors leading out onto a secure patio/terrace overlooking a stream (south facing) with wooden patio table and chairs. There is parking for two cars.
The cottage is 1.5 miles from Paignton and 3.5 miles from Totnes. The nearest beach is 2 miles away. The nearest supermarket is less than a mile. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural location. The orchards have Jacob sheep, ducks and geese foraging.
