This cottage is ideally placed in the heart of beautiful countryside yet within easy access of superb attractions, vibrant towns, pretty villages and excellent walking country. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of grazing fields and meadows, it offers superbly maintained self catering accommodation suitable for relaxing or ideal as a base for visiting near and far. Visitors may wander freely through the farmland and can walk the two mile farm nature trail. Haworth village is just half a mile away. Its steep Main Street paved with stone setts is lined with historic inns, shops, galleries and cafes and leads down to one of the country's best loved Steam Railways, famous as a location for films such as the Railway Children. Visitors can ride on the steam railway and visit the historic church and Georgian Parsonage Museum, home to the Bronte Sisters, which contains a vast collection of their artifacts. A well-marked path from the Church leads to the Pennine heather clad moors with paths up to the Bronte Falls and Top Withens (Wuthering Heights). This top of the range cottage sleeps four people comfortably in one double and one twin bedded room. The large family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Downstairs, the entrance hall leads to a cloakroom, and a large well equipped open plan fitted kitchen/dining area with the added benefit of a fridge/freezer, food processor, and dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge is comfortable with period features and Colour TV and CD player. It also has stunning south facing views over the farmland up to Haworth to the front of the cottage and open aspect over the farmland to the rear. Weekly lets normally begin on a Saturday. Short breaks are often available. All bed linen is provided, as is electricity between May and September (this is charged at cost by meter reading from September through to May).
