Great Prideaux is a detached, three bedroom, newly refurbished barn, set in the grounds of the owners' farm, in the village of Par in Cornwall.   The cottage is just a mile from the famous Eden Project (right photograph).   Footpaths from the cottage lead directly to The Saints Way, which runs from Padstow on the north coast to Fowey on the south coast.   Within 3 miles are Par Sands and locations for many Daphne du Maurier novels, celebrated in her May Festival. Mevagissey, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock (N.T.) and Truro are within a ½ hour drive. Shops, inns 2 miles.

Par

Par is a fishing port and village on the south coast of Cornwall, 3.5 east of St Austell. The Royal Inn, built in the 19th century, is a freehouse with bar and restaurant.
