The apartments at El Marques Palace are located in Los Gigantes which is renowned first and foremost for its fantastic sea views. They are sunny, spacious and light-filled and sleep up to 6 people.
The modern apartment building, which was finished in the year 2000, contains just 64 apartments in total.
The apartments are all privately owned and are therefore well maintained. The owners love the tranquility of the area and the relaxed life-style in Tenerife, as well as the friendliness of the Los Gigantes locals.
Los
Gigantes offers a totally different atmosphere to the busy resort of Playa
de las Americas.
There isn't even a road running straight through the resort.
The complex has two heated swimming pools, as well as tennis courts, a squash court, gym and bowls. There is also live entertainment available in the restaurants at El Marques Palace.
It is a very romantic place to be. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby, offering a range of different cuisines including traditional Spanish at El Meson. The views of the sun setting over La Gomera are stunning. Or try the more sophisticated Miranda's in the village or there is a fantastic fish and chip shop within a short walk (near El Meson).
The supermarket is within easy walking distance and sells local produce as well as catering for more English tastes. There is also a small bakery, which sells long rolls (panos) and hot bread. The owners recommend the local cheese with big locally grown tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and crispy 'panos', followed by an delicious evening meal in one of the nearby restaurants. It's enough to make you jump on the next available plane.
The apartment is not recommended for the elderly and infirm.
