bedroom Cornwall holiday cottage
Cobb
Cottage is a 200 year old traditional semi-detached Cornish home situated
just yards from the delightful village square of St. Keverne with its 14th
Century church.
A
small enclosed paved area, in front of the cottage, leads through a stable
door into a cosy beamed sitting/dining room with pine furnishings and
inglenook fireplace with wood burner.
TV, DVD and video player plus a hi-fi system are provided.
The fully fitted kitchen has an electric oven cooker with four ring
hob plus microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine.
Stairs
lead to the three double bedrooms,
two with double beds and one with twin beds, and to an attractively
decorated bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin, WC, heated towel
rail and airing cupboard.
In addition, opposite the cottage is a walled patio garden, perfect for
summer barbeques.
Parking is available directly outside the property or in the village
square.
The
cottage is located 8 miles to the South of Helston, ideally situated for
the nearby attractions of Flambards theme park, Culdrose air show, Poldark
mine, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, and the stunning Helford River &
Frenchman's creek to name but a few.
Being
so close to The Manacles it is also a very popular location for open water
diving with some of the best wreck diving areas in the country.
Cobb
cottage is located just off the square within a stone’s throw of all the
village amenities, including two excellent pubs, a general store,
newsagent, butchers and post office.

Location
St.
Keverne is one of the busiest and most popular villages on the
Lizard
Peninsula
. The ancient market town of
Helston is approximately 8 miles away providing further amenities
including A large Tesco supermarket. Main line stations can be found in
Penzance and
Truro
(
London
approximately 5hours). The village is a short distance away from the
coastal village locations of Porthoustock and Porthallow along with the
popular harbour
village
of
Coverack
. The sea is only one mile away and there is a good choice of beaches and
coves for bathing, boating and fishing.
Beaches
The
nearest beach is approx 3 miles away at Godrevy Cove. This beach offers a
wide expanse of sand is very quiet. There are lovely views of the manacles
and the beach offers safe bathing. There are plenty of beautiful
beaches around the lizard peninsula, of note are Kynance Cove and the
lovely creek at St Anthony.
