Yorkshire holiday cottageTwo bedroom Yorkshire holiday cottage

For a short break or a country holiday, there can be few areas able to offer the richness of choice and the striking contrasts that make the pretty village of Haworth, made famous by the Bronte sisters, the very essence of Pennine Yorkshire.

This cottage is ideally placed in the heart of beautiful countryside yet within easy access of superb attractions, vibrant towns, pretty villages and excellent walking country. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of grazing fields and meadows, it offers superbly maintained self catering accommodation suitable for relaxing or ideal as a base for visiting near and far.

Visitors may wander freely through the farmland and can walk the two mile farm nature trail.   Haworth village is just half a mile away.  Its steep Main Street paved with stone setts is lined with historic inns, shops, galleries and cafes and leads down to one of the country's best loved Steam Railways, famous as a location for films such as the Railway Children.  Visitors can ride on the steam railway and visit the historic church and Georgian Parsonage Museum, home to the Bronte Sisters, which contains a vast collection of their artefacts.  A well-marked path from the Church leads to the Pennine heather clad moors with paths up to the Bronte Falls and Top Withens (Wuthering Heights).

Light, bright and airy, this converted barn, dated 1831, sleeps four and is a favourite with families and couples alike. It features a large double bedroom and a particularly attractive twin bedded room.   There is also a shower room and a comfortable open plan lounge with Colour TV and radio. The well equipped kitchen includes a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, and the dining area under the large, bright barn window has views over the farmland up to Haworth Church.

Weekly lets normally begin on a Saturday.  Short breaks are often available.  All bed linen is provided, as is electricity between May and September (this is charged at cost by meter reading from September through to May).  Towels (if required) are extra.  There are 2 car parking spaces available.
