An excellent walking area, it is a refuge for badgers, fallow deer and woodland birds. A myriad attractions within easy reach include the village of Hartfield (3 miles) home to 'Pooh Corner', Ashdown Llama Farm, the famous Bluebell Railway, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and Eastbourne. There is a very good train service to London and a sports centre, riding and golf are found nearby. Shops and pubs 1 mile.
